The Ishmael Beah Foundation has impacted more than 150 children in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
At IBF, we know that the most important and vulnerable part of the child’s reintegration process is the time after they leave the safety of rehabilitation centers. This is why we focus on the post-conflict and post-center stages.
We achieve our goals by providing tuition, granting scholarships and creating literary and study corners as a way of engaging them and providing them with a safe place to take charge of their lives. Unique in our long term approach, we monitor our children’s progress, and we continue support based off an examination of each individual’s situation and needs.
Today, IBF has worked closely with more than 150 children in Sierra Leone, West Africa. We continue to play a large role in their lives while expanding our programs to other parts of the world.
Join us in creating opportunities for children around the world.
